Hybrid Power Plant in Sierra Leone

GIA acted as transaction advisor for a hybrid power plant project in Sierra Leone, integrating a 20 MW thermal component, a 20 MWp solar component, and a 14 MWh BESS, achieving 26% renewable energy penetration. Services included a power feasibility study, assessing captive power solutions versus grid connection, procurement strategy development (EPC vs. IPP), transaction advisory, project structuring and contract negotiation, as well as regulatory advisory and license procurement support.
