Digital reporting and data organisation
Where useful to an assignment, we organise project data and reporting outputs so the client’s team can maintain a clear view of findings, assumptions and actions. The scope may include geospatial datasets, dashboards or structured reporting tools, with requirements and handover agreed in advance.

What does digital reporting support include within a GIA assignment?
Where useful to the assignment, GIA organises project data and reporting outputs to make findings, assumptions and actions easier to maintain. The agreed scope may include structured reporting tools, dashboards or geospatial datasets.
How should a project dashboard be scoped?
A dashboard should start with the decisions and users it supports, the source data and the update responsibilities. GIA agrees these requirements before selecting the reporting structure so the output presents meaningful information rather than a collection of disconnected indicators.
How can a reporting tool remain useful after handover?
Handover should explain the data sources, definitions, update process and responsibilities. GIA agrees the intended use and handover requirements in advance so the client's team can understand the output and maintain it within the agreed scope.
Does a dashboard resolve gaps in project data?
No. A dashboard can make missing information and inconsistent assumptions visible, but it cannot validate evidence that has not been obtained. GIA keeps the distinction between reported facts, estimates and outstanding actions clear in the reporting design.
Part of an integrated assignment
We agree the scope, responsibilities and outputs around the project stage and the decision to be supported.
