Procurement Management
By encouraging discussion of the project’s key considerations, such as management, resource needs, budget realism, usability of results, constraints, ethics, and equity, we ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach to tender preparation.
Our tender process is designed to be transparent and supplier-friendly. We clearly outline the tender process and requirements for suppliers, providing them with a named contact for further information and use technical advisors to educate our developers. We leverage various channels, including websites, networks, social media, sector bodies, and funded organizations, to advertise the ITT and reach a wide range of potential suppliers.
Time scales are an important aspect of our tender process. We allow a reasonable amount of time for suppliers to develop and discuss their proposals, taking into account the size and complexity of the project.

Informing suppliers is a crucial step in the tender process. In order to maintain transparency and competitiveness, we ensure that the rules, timescales, and evaluation criteria are clearly communicated to all suppliers. Highlighting specific reasons why suppliers did not win, notifying suppliers with receipt of bids and provide timely feedback to unsuccessful suppliers helps keep your network of suppliers content.
We believe in a rigorous shortlisting process, involving scoring bids against specified criteria and involving multiple stakeholders to reduce bias and ensure a range of perspectives.
Choosing suppliers is a critical decision, and we approach it with care. We conduct formal interviews or informal chats, depending on the project’s requirements and our available time and resources.
Key project team members attend the final stages of he interview process. Additionally, we request referees, peer reviews, and references to further validate the suitability of potential suppliers.
