The mandate
GIA has been appointed development manager for a planned mixed-use campus in Lagos, Nigeria. Bringing together spaces to work, live and socialise, the campus is intended to provide the physical infrastructure supporting venture-capital and accelerator activities.
The developer requires coordinated support across feasibility, financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, procurement and project management. GIA’s mandate spans these workstreams as the development advances towards contractor appointment and financial close.
GIA’s contribution
- Feasibility study: assessment of the proposed development to inform project planning.
- Financial modelling: preparation and development of the financial model to support project assessment and financing preparation.
- Stakeholder engagement: supporting engagement with the parties involved in the development.
- Procurement advisory: supporting the process for appointing the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor.
- Project development and management: coordinating the advisory and development workstreams on behalf of the developer.
Current stage
As of September 2026, the assignment is ongoing and the appointment of the EPC contractor is being finalised. Financial close is the next planned milestone.
